MotoGP is a motorcycle racing game that allows players a chance to race for the Moto Grand Prix World Championship.

The 2014 iteration of MotoGP is an interesting game. It's packed with incomparable features; probably more so than all others versions. It's got all the races from the Moto 3, Moto 2, and Moto GP circuits, and all the riders are the same. The 2014 version features big mode, which is where you race for the cup, and it also has a mode where you can race in some of the most exciting moments of the sport. The 2014 MotoGP game tries to be everything it can in what seems to be a last-ditch effort to bring something close to glory to the franchise.

Unfortunately, the game falls short in virtually every respect. It commits some of the primary sins of racing games right off the bat, failing to balance the racers and looking fairly ugly. Coupled with bad sound and poor design in general and you'll quickly see the reason why the MotoGP series has fallen by the wayside. What's good in the game can't really rescue it from what went wrong, and that's a shame. Somewhere underneath all the ugliness is a solid game.

MotoGP 14 definitely isn't a good game. It's an ambitious game, but it falls flat on every level. This is a game series that died a deserved death, but it's also one of the few series that allows for great motorcycle gaming. If you're a huge fan of MotoGP, you'll make it through the game. Otherwise, you won't be able to get past all the flaws to find anything that you'll enjoy.
